A Very Good + copy of the Publisher's Review Copy for the first edition, first printing with the Publisher's materials loosely laid in (some spotting to the board cloth where it overlays the paper-covered boards -- otherwise Fine), in a Fine dust jacket; a collection of short stories. A. O. Scott, writing in the New York Times, described Donald Barthelme's short stories as "...ingenious gadgets that rest comfortably in your hand, throwing out sparks and shocks", and John Barth described him as "...the thinking man's - and woman's - Minimalist." A rather nice copy of this collection of short stories from an author who died too young.
