A Good copy of this exceedingly scarce Play by George Melville Baker (copyright 1866) in its ORIGINAL WRAPPERS showing general marking, creasing, wear, soiling, tearing, and staining with scattered pencil marks to the leaves, copies of which Play are RARE TO THE MARKET. Per Wikipedia: "George Melville Baker was a playwright and publisher in Boston, Massachusetts, in the 19th century. He worked for Lee & Shepard publishers, then opened his own imprint. "George M. Baker & Co." issued works by authors such as Henry M. Baker, F.E. Chase, and Herbert Pelham Curtis." Good. Item #3861
